Strong & Herd

Strong & Herd LLP are an outsource function to numerous companies who are unable to import or export goods themselves. We help produce numerous import and export guides/bibles. To achieve this we have access to numerous websites and HMRC support. S&H LLP are widely respected consultants in all areas of International trade. Our associate network allows coverage from finding Agents or Distributors, Customers or Suppliers to issues relating to export control compliance (both UK and USA) payment, including financing, handling excise duties and VAT controls both in the UK and EU. All the above combined helps S&H LLP present factual legislative training courses, but in a fun and relaxed manner.

Institute of Export

Established in 1935, the Institute of Export & International Trade is the UK professional body representing and supporting the interests of everyone involved in international trade. The Institute delivers internationally recognised training courses and qualifications on all aspects of international trade - including customs procedures, international logistics and supply chain management. Supporting members through its technical helpline and a wealth of trade resources, the Institute also runs the free-to-use Open to Export service for SMEs starting out in international trade. Recently recognised as a ‘Small Business Champion’ by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

BIFA

The British International Freight Association (BIFA) is the trade association for UK-registered companies engaged in international movement of freight by all modes of transport, air, road, rail and sea – known generally as freight forwarders. A not-for-profit organisation, BIFA is funded by subscription and run by its members for members. It operates with a full-time Secretariat which administers and manages the Association’s affairs. The association provides: Representation; Information and Guidance on Technical Matters; Industry Promotion and a range of Technical Training.

British Chambers of Commerce

The British Chambers of Commerce sits at the heart of a unique network across the UK, comprised of fifty-three Accredited Chambers, that is a trusted Champion of global trade. We have helped British businesses trade globally for over 150 years; have over 350 qualified specialists, who work every day to help business and international trade flourish and last year ensured the timely passage of over 600,000 shipments to overseas customers. We receive over 1,500 international trade enquiries per week, regularly deliver nationally accredited international trade training courses, covering comprehensive import and export curriculums and have trained over 5,000 candidates since 2013.
